Terms of Service
Last updated 14 May 2026 · Placeholder pending legal review
1. What Solodesk is
Solodesk is a software-as-a-service product that helps NDIS sole-trader support workers in Australia build compliance packs, log shifts, and generate invoices. Solodesk does not provide legal advice, financial advice, or NDIS compliance certification.
2. The documents you generate
Solodesk produces template documents intended as a starting point. They are structured around current NDIS guidelines and the NDIA’s published guidance. You remain responsible for ensuring any service agreement, progress note, or invoice you use meets your specific obligations as a provider, including obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct, the NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant Australian Consumer Law.
3. Your account
You agree to provide accurate information when you create an account, to keep your password confidential, and to notify Solodesk if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be authorised to enter agreements on behalf of any business you represent in the app.
4. Subscription, trial, and cancellation
New accounts begin with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription on the plan you select. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel any time; your account remains active until the end of the current billing period. If you do not subscribe within 30 days of trial expiry, your data is scheduled for deletion. We will email you before any deletion occurs.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Solodesk to upload malicious content, attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, scrape or resell the templates we generate, or use the product in any way that breaches Australian law.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will not be liable for downtime caused by events outside our reasonable control (third-party hosting outages, internet infrastructure issues, force majeure).
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Solodesk’s aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits non-excludable consumer guarantees under Australian law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
